At JISO, we firmly believe that design not only beautifies—it transforms, connects, and shapes the future. That’s why we’re proud to announce that, for another year, we continue to collaborate with the Fundació del Disseny de la Comunitat Valenciana as a supporting company.
The Fundació del Disseny is a private, non-profit, public-interest organization focused on the promotion and advancement of design. It aims to encourage institutions, industries, and companies across sectors to integrate design into their strategies. Born as a legacy of World Design Capital Valencia 2022, the foundation works to position, promote, and celebrate design, while uniting the local creative ecosystem. Its mission is to support a culture of knowledge in the creative, economic, and social spheres, and to highlight the importance of design as a tool for creating value—a necessary tool to boost business competitiveness and enhance quality of life for citizens.
València continues to write its global story in design and creativity. In its brief yet impactful trajectory, the Fundació has positioned the city on the map of key international design networks and organizations. The latest milestone came in February, when the European organization BEDA (Bureau of European Design Associations) welcomed the Fundació del Disseny as a member in the category of design promotion entity—an unprecedented achievement.
This alliance is more than a collaboration—it is a declaration of principles: we stand by local design as a driving force of innovation, identity, and growth. The Valencian Community is a land of extraordinary creative talent, and being actively involved in initiatives that showcase and amplify it strengthens our mission as a company committed to its environment.
Over the past year, we’ve had the privilege of participating in events, exhibitions, and gatherings organized by the Fundació, where inspiration, dialogue, and forward-thinking thrive. JISO Iluminación reinforces its commitment to design-driven initiatives, contributing actively through our lighting systems and projects, with a focus on innovation and quality spatial design. We hope to learn from shared experiences and work together to create lighting projects of the highest aesthetic, technical, and energy-efficient standards.
